Description

Passive speakers are ordinary speakers that we usually use without an internal amplifier circuit. Passive speakers can be seen as "wooden boxes with speakers", which has the advantage of achieving optimal sound without interference. They are commonly used in large amplifiers, such as larger venues, conference rooms, movies, theaters, and home theaters, and require high power and good sound quality.

Passive speaker components: wooden/plastic enclosure, high and low frequency unit speakers, frequency divider, internal sound-absorbing cotton, and speaker wiring terminals. To drive a passive sub woofer speaker, a speaker cable is required to connect the speaker wiring terminal to the amplifier output terminal. The volume is controlled by the amplifier. The selection of audio sources and the adjustment of high and low frequencies are all completed by the amplifier. And the pa passive speaker is only responsible for producing sound.

The same box, paired with different amplifiers, can result in different music performances. The same amplifier, paired with boxes from different brands, has a different taste. This is the advantage of passive speakers.

Its main features are:
1. The rated output power is relatively high and can be freely matched with power amplifiers.
2. The selection space is relatively large, and you can choose discrete component amplifiers or pair them with electronic tube amplifiers.
3. There is no power amplifier circuit inside the speaker, an external power amplifier is required to work.
